SUP Coffee - About Us

Hey! Was'sup? This is us...

SUP Coffee was created by us, Parm and Fran, with huge excitement from our daughter, Lillamina, who has assumed the role chief taste tester of our delicious cakes and cookies.

As well as one of our usual phrases to say hello to each other, SUP is a representation of what we're trying to achieve through our love of coffee. We want to support as many local communities as possible, whether that be providing a place to go for a delicious coffee and a chat when working from home or donating back to local primary schools to help fund much needed resources, like books and stationary.

With years of experience, we can confidently say that we like to talk and we tend to talk most when we have a hot drink in our hands. This makes a coffee shop one of the best opportunities to spread support locally. Most adults in the UK have at least one cuppa a day and we would love for that one cuppa to be giving back to the community.

Initially, we started to volunteer with our local residents association, from attending events and donating a percentage of our sales back, to supporting on the day with set up, clean up and packing away.

We soon became aware of the dire funding situation that many of our schools are in, especially with our daughter being in primary school. We learned that some teachers, already underpaid, were using their own money to buy in essentials - like paper! This is why we went on to create the SUP School Project

The SUP School Project is a fundraising project to help local primary schools raise much needed, additional funds, supporting our children's futures.
